The LEROY STATE BANK in the mid 1920s.Note the window glass on the front and side of the building.That was replaced some years later with glass bricks.Also note the neat old lamp post with an arrow sign that reads"To Route 39".Also we can see the old water tower in the background.Note the cars are parked in the middle of the road,there was a time when parking was in the center of downtown and driving was on either side.Next to the bank is the Office of Lawyer Leslie J Owen.Years later that building was the law office of Arlo Bane.
